By using the Black Ridge Precision app, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Field Use and Safety
The app provides estimates, tools, calculations, and reference information. Ballistic outputs, environmental readings, target data, mover leads, range cards, stage plans, and device settings must be independently verified by the user.
You are responsible for safe, lawful, and responsible use of firearms, archery equipment, devices, ranges, and field tools. Always follow applicable laws, range rules, manufacturer instructions, and accepted safety practices.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
Ballistic and environmental calculations depend on user inputs, device accuracy, ammunition consistency, rifle setup, sensor data, weather data, and other variables. Black Ridge Precision does not guarantee that any calculation, recommendation, hold, lead, correction, or device setting will be accurate in all conditions.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for verifying profile data, zero data, muzzle velocity, bullet data, scope data, environmental data, target distance, wind, inclination, device calibration, and observed impacts before relying on app outputs.
Third-Party Services
Some features may use third-party services for weather, mapping, elevation, diagnostics, artificial intelligence, transcription, cloud processing, or platform services. These services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Device Control
The app may connect to supported Bluetooth or Black Ridge Precision-compatible devices. You are responsible for confirming device settings and behavior before field use.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer protected portions, attempt unauthorized access, or use the app in violation of applicable laws.
Beta and Experimental Features
Some features may be labeled beta, experimental, or subject to change. These features may be incomplete, produce unexpected results, or change between versions.
Intellectual Property
The app, designs, software, text, graphics, workflows, and related materials are owned by Black Ridge Precision or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or written permission.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Ridge Precision disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Ridge Precision is not liable for injury, damage, loss, missed shots, equipment damage, data loss, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
