Black Ridge Precision provides mobile tools for ballistics, firearm profiles, stage planning, shot timing, group analysis, weather integration, Bluetooth device control, and related field-use features.

Information We Collect or Process The app may store or process the following information depending on which features you use: Ballistic and equipment data: rifle profiles, cartridge data, bullet information, muzzle velocity, scope height, zero distance, twist rate, environmental settings, target distance, wind inputs, solver outputs, reloading profiles, and field notes. Location and environment data: approximate or precise location may be used for weather, elevation, terrain, mapping, and device synchronization features. Weather and elevation requests may be sent to third-party weather, terrain, or map providers. Bluetooth device data: the app may connect to supported devices such as weather meters, level devices, chronographs, or other Black Ridge Precision-compatible hardware. Data may include sensor readings, device status, settings, and configuration values. Camera and photo data: camera and photo access may be used for group analysis, target measurement, stage import, and camera-based tools. Images may be stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them. Audio data: microphone access may be used for shot timer, debrief, voice, or transcription features. When AI transcription or analysis is used, audio may be sent to a third-party AI service for processing. Health data: if you choose to connect supported health or wearable services, the app may process heart rate, oxygen saturation, or related field-session telemetry. These features are optional. Diagnostics: if usage diagnostics are enabled, the app may collect technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, solver events, crash information, feature usage, and a diagnostic device identifier. Diagnostics help us improve reliability and performance. Support communications: if you contact us, we may receive your email address, message content, screenshots, logs, or other information you choose to provide. How We Use Information We use information to provide app features, calculate ballistic solutions, save user profiles, connect to supported devices, display weather and terrain information, analyze groups or stages, improve app reliability, troubleshoot support issues, and maintain product safety and performance. Data Sharing We do not sell personal information. Depending on the feature used, information may be processed by third-party service providers, including weather providers, mapping and elevation services, cloud diagnostics services, AI transcription or stage-analysis providers, and device-platform services such as Google Play or Android system services. Information is shared only as needed to provide the feature you requested, operate the app, improve reliability, comply with law, or respond to support requests. Local Storage Most user-created app data is stored locally on your device, including profiles, stages, preferences, group analysis records, reloading notes, and related files. Removing the app or clearing app storage may delete local app data unless you have exported or backed it up. Cloud and Shared Features Some optional features may transmit data to Black Ridge Precision cloud services or third-party services, such as shared weather rooms, diagnostics, AI transcription, or support workflows. These features may require network access. Permissions The app may request permissions for location, Bluetooth, camera, photos, microphone, notifications, storage, and optional health or wearable data. Permissions are used only for the related app features. Retention and Deletion Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or use available in-app deletion tools. Support emails, diagnostics, and cloud-processed data may be retained as needed for support, security, legal compliance, and product improvement. You may request deletion of support, diagnostic, or cloud-associated data by contacting support@blackridgeprecision.com. Children The app is not intended for children. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and safety requirements. Changes We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
